Di Marzio: Hauge to undergo Frankfurt medical on Monday, Sampdoria interested in Pobega – the latest

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan’s transfer market campaign is heating up, with the club looking to secure some reinforcements until the end of the month, but also to complete some sales.

The first sale that will materialize is that of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt. As reported by Sky Italia‘s Gianluca di Marzio, his transfer to the Bundesliga side is in the pipeline.

He adds that the player will arrive in Frankfurt tomorrow and will undergo his medical with the German club on Monday before completing his move for a fee of around 12 million euros.

Another possible outgoing operation could be that of Tommaso Pobega. Di Marzio claims that Sampdoria have expressed their interest in the young midfielder as they see him as the ideal profile to reinforce the midfield departmnet.

However, he also notes that a deal is, at the moment, possible only on loan, as the Rossoneri want to keep control over the player.

Furthermore, Maldini would be ready to let the midfielder leave only if another player arrives to reinforce the midfield, with Tiemoue Bakayoko being the main idea. If a move fails to materialize, Pobega will be considered an integral part of Pioli’s squad.

  1. Pobega out for that useless and paceless Bakayoko will be a strong mistake. Have Milan been cursed with that flopped player?
