Di Marzio: Ibrahimovic awaiting scan on knee injury – he is likely to miss at least two games

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will have a scan on his knee injury to determine the extent of any potential injury, reports claim.

Ibrahimovic had to leave the field yesterday against Juventus due to a problem in his left knee that he sustained when jumping for a header and seemingly landing awkwardly on it. On his website, Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reports this update on the condition of Zlatan, admitting that there was a lot of concern initially, but the worst seems to have been averted.

The Swede made everyone worry with that scream of pain before collapsing to the ground and asking for the change. The check made seems to have removed the worst hypotheses, but for the resonance that will remove every doubt we will have to wait for tomorrow as today his knee is still too swollen and recovery times are not yet certain.

In all probability he will miss both Torino on Wednesday and Cagliari on Sunday. Pioli hopes to have him at least for the last game of the season.
