It has emerged that Jovan Kirovski is already in Italy to help build the AC Milan of the future, as a video showed him with technical director Geoffrey Moncada.
Back in March, it was been widely reported that Kirovski had been in talks with Milan over a possible position in the club’s management. We wrote at length about his background, his friendship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the role foreseen in a feature at the time.
Things went quiet for a couple of months, but a video from Di Marzio yesterday showed him with Moncada. The report confirms that the former LA Galaxy man is arriving to become the director of the U23 team.
The B-team project is being strongly pushed for by Milan and Daniele Bonera will coach. The Rossoneri will be the third Serie A club after Juventus and Atalanta to have a second team in the Lega Pro.
The issue regarding registration for the 2024-25 season still remains to be understood. The club will make the request and then we will see if they will be able to be admitted next season, with the first free slot going to them if a team cannot register due to financial or other issues.
