Di Marzio: Laxalt agrees to join Torino; the details

Earlier today, a meeting took place between AC Milan and the agent of Laxalt (via MilanNews.it), and it seems that it has brought us closer to a conclusion of the transfer saga.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Laxalt has agreed to join Torino, after previously having some doubts about the move. The left-back’s salary of €1.7m will be paid entirely by the Turin side during the loan period.

The formula of the deal, as the Italian journalist adds, is a €500K paid loan with a buy-out clause of €11.5m. The agreement between the clubs has been in place for a few days now, and after initially slowing the deal down, Laxalt is also onboard.

The operation has been closed and the former Genoa man will be in Turin tomorrow to undergo the medical tests for his new side, per Di Marzio. After weeks of rumours, therefore, the transfer saga has come to an end.
