Di Marzio: Leonardo continues to follow Paqueta for PSG

By Isak Möller -

In January 2019, Leonardo signed Lucas Paqueta for AC Milan. According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews.it), the sporting director could try to buy the midfielder once again, as he’s now at Paris Saint-Germain.

On Sky Italia this evening, the Italian journalist highlighted that Paqueta has everything he needs to be of great value for this team. Furthermore, as Marco Giampaolo has left, he is expected to be given more freedom under Stefano Pioli.

Di Marzio also stated that Leonardo continues to monitor the player from France, meaning a move to PSG could be on the cards in the future. However, even though the director is a great admirer of the player, it doesn’t mean he will sign him.

Milan’s first game with Pioli in charge will take place on Sunday evening, as Lecce will pay a visit to the San Siro. Paqueta is expected to start to the left in the midfield, ready to show off his qualities.
