Di Marzio: Lyon submit formal offer for Milan midfielder Krunic

By Euan Burns -

French side Lyon have submitted a formal offer for AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic which roughly matches the valuation of the Rossoneri, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Ligue 1 side are prepared to pay €12-13m for the Bosnian midfielder, a fee that Fenerbahce were not willing to reach when they were trying to sign Krunic.

It is no secret that Stefano Pioli would like to keep Rade Krunic at the club as he is a big fan of what the former Empoli midfielder brings to the team, both in terms of skill and tactical versatility.

When Fenerbache were the most likely destination for Krunic, it was felt that Milan would only sell if a bid came in which was along the lines of this one from Lyon, so there is now a decision to make.

Krunic would need to be replaced but many possible targets have now completed other moves.

    1. It doesn’t matter if the replacement is better like Amrabat, etc. But it would be problematic if the replacement was worse than .lord krunic

    1. For 13M we would be stupid to reject the offer but we don’t have anyone else on the them to play as a DM and we have to face Roma in a few days.

        1. But they did not play with Reijnders and RLC in the midfield like Krunic did, so it will be hard to adapt before the roma game.

    2. Im waiting that comment : sell him fast and buy amrabat / dominques/ koopmeiner. Weka weka weka weka . As if that would be easy like buying candy on shop

    1. I totally agree that Amrabat would be the best(only )choice in italy who fits the bill for the base of midfield ,and he is looking for a way out of Firenze. There is no longer time for the transfer of players out of serie A. Only thing is Amrabat being non EU would interfere with the Taremi negotiation as there is one non EU spot left.

        1. Oh yes! I forgot about that.. could you imagine getting Amrabat and Taremi by the end of the window… That would be incredible!!

  1. I saw a report about Domiguez almost on is way to a premier league team…Am not sure if it’s Luton or Nothingham forest, but the deal was at the final stage.

  2. If they would sell Krunic for €13M and could get Koopenmeirs or Amrabat to replace them, I would care less about getting Taremi for now and target a striker in the January window if we progress through the UCL Group Stages. Pu-Gi-Le with Ok-Co-Chuk as and you still have Origi (for now) and Luka as potential 3rd liners would be pretty solid especially if you have a midfield that would have RLC, Reijenders, Koopenmeirs, Pobega, Adli, and Bennacer when he comes back!

  3. I’m not a fan of his. However, lets be honest, this has all happened too late. But ok, this overhaul is going to (and should) take more than one window.

In a team that wins it’s league and goes deep into the UCL, Krunic and Calabria are squad players, but we can’t have everything all at once – look at the summer we’ve had.

As long as he leaves everything on the pitch he’ll do for now.

  4. Two teams, 3 coaches believe in him and willing to spend 10+ million and some guys here just purely hate the guy. He filled many positions and I don’t recall getting injured… in away I am not surprised … before milan won the leauge, you could hardly see 5 comments… now it’s filled with childish comments with hints of recisim and tons of insults … few still provides useful comments but many are here to cry.

  5. Solid offer but too late.

Armbat isn’t coming for 12-15M LOL. Prob going to Man U for 40M.

We stay as we are with Krunic and Adli as his backup until Benny returns to health and full fitness. Adli will get chance to prove himself in that position. We will see

  6. I think the comments section here will go stale without Krunic. It will be legit boring, He brings the numbers. Waayy too much fun and drama guaranteed week-in week-out to let go 🤣😂

  7. Idiot Pioli won’t sell his benchwarmer! LOL

We could of got Redondo or someone. haha FMD.

Oh well, we got rid of Rebic, Salad etc, can’t have it all
