Di Marzio: Milan and Brugge strike agreement over De Ketelaere – final detail being resolved

After weeks of back and forth negotiating and countless reports, it seems the Charles De Ketelaere soap opera will soon come to a close.

According to Di Marzio, De Ketelaere is close to becoming a Milan player and the step he took yesterday helped, as the 21-year-old gave up a part of his salary in order to facilitate the negotiations between the two clubs and reach a closure.

Milan reached an agreement with Club Brugge today over the full terms of the deal, and another sign arrived from Belgium as the 21-year-old playmaker did not train today with the rest of the squad and did not even go to the club’s sports centre.

The negotiation therefore seems to be in the closing details, with Milan having reached an agreement with Brugge and they are now arranging the final small things with the player’s agents. A flight over to Italy could very soon be booked.
