AC Milan have a concrete interest in Giacomo Raspadori of Sassuolo and could make a concrete move for him, a report claims.
The 21-year-old had somewhat of a breakout season in Serie A during the last campaign, including a match-winning brace against Milan at San Siro towards the end of the season, earning him a call-up from Roberto Mancini for Italy’s Euro 2020 campaign.
Gianluca Di Marzio spoke during ‘Calciomercato – L’Originale’ on Sky Italia about the future of Raspadoria (via InterNews), and confirmed that he is attracting interest from several clubs as he is a name that rose to prominence in the last season.
Milan and Inter are both keen and there are foreign teams who are interested too. If Lautaro Martinez were to leave Inter, the number one target would be Raspadori, while if the Rossoneri wanted to make an important investment for the future of the attack regardless of Olivier Giroud’s arrival, then he could be an option. However, Sassuolo are a ‘very expensive shop’.
