AC Milan are closing in on their first signing of the January window as Soualiho Meité appears to be on the verge of joining.
A number of sources reported yesterday that Milan are looking for a reinforcement in the midfield and in the last few days the track that leads to Meité of Torino has become increasingly warm.
The Frenchman has lost his starting position under Marco Giampaolo and wasn’t even on the bench on Saturday against Milan, and he was once again been left out of Torino’s squad for tonight’s Coppa Italia clash.
According to reports from Di Marzio (via MilanNews), Milan and Torino are having continuous contacts to find an agreement for Meité. The clubs are thinking about a loan with the option to buy and negotiations are at an advanced stage.
The talks are continuing even in the evening, in search of a total agreement on the loan and redemption figure.
