Di Marzio: Milan could keep Colombo and close mercato without a new striker

AC Milan are looking to bring in a striker before the end of the transfer window and evaluations of several players are currently ongoing. However, as a report claims, it’s not certain that they will sign a striker.

Stefano Pioli is expecting the management to bring in a striker before the window closes, as was reported by Sky Italia last night. However, as they still haven’t sanctioned Lorenzo Colombo’s move to Monza, there is no obligation to sign a striker.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking live on Sky Italia last night (via MilanEye), Milab are evaluating several players for the role. Having said that, they need to find the right profile with the right conditions otherwise, they could close the mercato.

Colombo has an agreement with Monza and would like to make the loan move, as he would get more playing time (and for a decent side as well). However, he could also come in handy at Milan in the event no new striker arrives.
