Di Marzio: Milan consider Torino midfielder on loan – outcast not included in talks

By Isak Möller -

We’re just four days into the transfer window, but there has already been plenty of rumours regarding Milan. The latter are very active and in addition to a centre-back, they could bring in a midfielder.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, after missing out on 19-year-old Toulouse midfielder Kouadio Kone, Milan are once again scanning the market. By the looks of it, they have identified Soualiho Meite, whom Torino are willing to loan out.

The Rossoneri have approached the player’s agent and contacts are underway to understand the conditions of a potential deal. In the coming hours, they will decide whether to start a real negotiation or not.

Per the report, Meite could arrive on a loan with an option to buy. It would certainly be a solution for the present more so than the future, as Kone would have been. Rade Krunic, who has been linked with Torino, is thus not involved.
