Di Marzio: Milan have closed two deals; updates on Politano, Kessie and Piatek

By Oliver Fisher -

Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has offered a few crucial update as AC Milan’s January mercato begins to gather serious pace.

According to Di Marzio – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan have sealed the arrivals of centre-back Simon Kjaer and Asmir Begovic, the latter of whom is deemed as a reliable back-up to Gianluigi Donnarumma and a replacement for Pepe Reina.

He adds that the Rossoneri could look for a winger with Matteo Politano a target, however Paolo Maldini and Zvonomir Boban have no intentions of sending Franck Kessie the other way as part of the deal, meaning they would have to purchase him outright from Inter.

In addition, a €28-30million asking price has been set by Milan for Krzysztof Piatek but at the moment only loan offers arrive, something which the club has no intention of entertaining.
