AC Milan are determined to sign Roma winger Cengiz Under during the January transfer window, according to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio.
It is seemingly no secret that the Rossoneri are looking to part ways with Suso this month and replace him with another wide man, and at the moment there are two strong links circulating in the media.
One of those is Dani Olmo: a player who Croatian outlet Sportske claimed Milan have launched a €30m offer for which has been accepted, meaning a deal could be done ‘soon’.
We reported though on Wednesday night that Under is attracting serious interest from the Milan hierarchy, and that a bid could be made ‘in the coming hours’ involving Suso as a counterpart plus a cash sum.
Now, Di Marzio has given an update on Under’s situation during his segment on Sky’s Calciomercato l’Originale (via MilanNews.it).
He claimed that Milan have the ‘iron will’ to bring Under to Milan, with the player having said yes to the move and talks currently ongoing with his entourage – who are not happy with Roma’s purchase of Matteo Politano.
The Diavolo want to buy the 22-year-old outright but the Giallorossi are only willing to sell for a very high price, so a possible swap involving Suso could be evaluated.
