Di Marzio: Milan have secured Rangnick for next season – when it will be announced

By Isak Möller -

There are still many games left of the season and Stefano Pioli still has the chance of bringing AC Milan to Europe. However, the Rossoneri management has already decided his future with the club.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, CEO Ivan Gazidis met Ralf Rangnick once again in recent days. The parties had a meeting back in mid-December at the Hilton hotel in London and on that occasion, the Singer family was also present.

The encounter that took place recently, therefore, brought the German manager even closer to Milan as an agreement was struck between the parties. However, an announcement won’t be made until goals have been achieved for this season.

This, of course, is all in an attempt to keep Pioli motivated for the season finale, letting him work in serenity without sparking too many reactions from the media. In other words, we will have to wait a little more for the official statement.
