Di Marzio: Milan make late attempt to hijack Roma’s move for Eintracht Frankfurt star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made a late attempt to hijack Roma’s move to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka, according to a report.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are waiting for the final green light from N’Dicka after he reached an agreement with the Giallorossi over a five-year contract recently.

He will leave Eintracht Frankfurt when his contract expires at the end of this month, but Roma may now face competition from their Serie A rivals. Despite having a management overhaul in the last three days, Milan have moved.

The journalist adds that yesterday on Wednesday 7 June, Milan – having already been interested in N’Dicka for some time – tried the hijack the deal. The Giallorossi management remain confident though, and are preparing the documents to make the deal official.

N’Dicka has spent the last five seasons in Bundesliga, collecting 170 appearances for the Frankfurt-based side, and he could become the second Bosman move Roma made given Houssem Aouar should soon join from Olympique Lyonnais.

  1. Thats crazy, how could we miss on such a great player for free?

    Ndicka, Kamada, Tielemans and Thuram

All out of contract players that would bring us forward and cover the holes we have in the squad!

Who ever is taking the place of Maldinin and Massara, needs to be quick and invest smart!

    1. You got the dig, without spending on transfer fees we can strengthen the whole team with free signings and have enough to spare. It beats me why we didn’t capitalize on this strategy under Maldini. Before someone comes to say trash here also remember we signed Suso for free and sold for 22mill what business is better than this ?

      1. pffttt ddo you know how much thuram wants for the salary? the kind of only clubs like psg, city and madrid can offer

  3. Interesting 🤔. But we were linked to him before, Kamada and so on so you can say it’s related to prior management. I’d like to see the new crop that they’re gonna scout 🍿
