Di Marzio: Milan make late attempt to hijack Roma’s move for Eintracht Frankfurt star

AC Milan have made a late attempt to hijack Roma’s move to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka, according to a report.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are waiting for the final green light from N’Dicka after he reached an agreement with the Giallorossi over a five-year contract recently.

He will leave Eintracht Frankfurt when his contract expires at the end of this month, but Roma may now face competition from their Serie A rivals. Despite having a management overhaul in the last three days, Milan have moved.

The journalist adds that yesterday on Wednesday 7 June, Milan – having already been interested in N’Dicka for some time – tried the hijack the deal. The Giallorossi management remain confident though, and are preparing the documents to make the deal official.

N’Dicka has spent the last five seasons in Bundesliga, collecting 170 appearances for the Frankfurt-based side, and he could become the second Bosman move Roma made given Houssem Aouar should soon join from Olympique Lyonnais.
