Di Marzio: Milan launch bid for Valencia midfielder but they ask for time – the latest

AC Milan are attempting to move ahead in their pursuit of Yunus Musah and they have submitted an offer to Valencia, according to a report.

As per the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Milan management have already reached an agreement with Musah over personal terms which means they have ticked one of the boxes required to make the move happen.

Now, the Rossoneri have sent an offer to Valencia but they have not yet received a response, a bit like the situation involving Samuel Chukwueze and Villarreal.

Valencia are taking their time before making a decision, also because they want to see if some better offers come in from the other teams interested in the USA international.

How long the LaLiga side are willing to wait or indeed how long Milan can tolerate being put on hold is not mentioned, but developments could occur soon given their financial issues and need to sell.

  1. They’re in no rush to sell – if they think they can get 5m more from a desperate English club in a month’s time, they’ll hold on to him – he’s basically one of the few cashable assets they have left

    1. Some clubs are willing to wait to get better offers and look for the replacements meanwhile. Then there are clubs who accept basically the first incoming offer without hesitation and are left with pants down finding suitable replacement for the just sold guy AND the other key midfielder who is out until next spring. Not to mention several other big issues to fix.

I wonder which is the better way of doing business…

  2. They hope some EPL club enter bidding war for yunus. Well that would be bad for AC Milan , that make price go higher & yunus missed pre season with AC Milan

    1. Either way Milan will lose. They’ll either lose the bidding war (by not raising the offer) or get the player just a week before the opening match and get CDK-like performances out of him the whole season. 😛
