AC Milan are set to be able to announce the appointment of an importance reinforcement for their youth sector, but not a new player.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that after months of negotiations, a definitive agreement was reached to entrust the Rossoneri youth sector to Vincenzo Vergine.
Vergine already distinguished himself as head of the youth area first at Fiorentina, where he developed and then launched talents of the caliber of Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic.
He then moved to Roma, where he obtained six national youth titles and cultivated many top-class talents too, but now it seems he is willing to try another new adventure.
Until now, the Rossoneri youth sector has always remained divided into two areas. From the U17s onwards the director was Carbone, while for the under 18s and under 19s it was Danzé.
However, both have left and now – with the arrival Vergine – the entire sector will be unified under his management and organisation.
