AC Milan are ready to make a ‘serious’ offer to try and convince Zlatan Ibrahimovic to remain for another year, according to a report.
The Swede showed everyone what he is capable of at the ripe age of 38 on Wednesday night as he scored a brace to move on to nine league goals in 2020, and he also provided an assist for Hakan Calhanoglu.
If before it seemed like – with Ralf Rangnick’s seemingly imminent arrival as manager – a renewal seemed almost impossible, multiple outlets now believe there is a strong chance he signs a new deal.
According to what is being reported by Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan will make a serious offer from a contractual point of view to Ibrahimovic, possibly on Friday.
With the proposal, Milan will demonstrate how they are willing to make an economic effort considering the salary parameters that Elliott Management wish to impose the squad.
