Di Marzio: Milan aiming to sign at least two defenders in January – the targets

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan would like to sign two defenders in the January transfer window and there are a number of names being linked with the Rossoneri, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are fully aware of the defensive crisis that they now find themselves in, which may have been made even worse by Fikayo Tomori appearing to pull his hamstring in the Serie A draw against Salernitana.

Aston Villa’s Clement Lenglet has been linked as he is only on loan at the Premier League side and would like a permanent move away from his parent club, Barcelona.

Matteo Gabbia could return from Villarreal where he is on loan, despite it seeming he had no future with the club.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Nordi Mukiele could be on the market this winter as he is not a regular starter in the French capital, whilst West Ham’s Thilo Kehrer is also a very realistic target for Milan.

Were the deals to fall in the right way, even three defensive signings cannot be ruled out.

  1. Whats the point. They will get injured too. And also what, will have a team with 15 CBs? How about you fix your tranning regime cause it is obviously something wrong with it when it is causing so many injuries from muscle fatigue. Better give Simic a chance for now.

  2. Inovation time. Since we only have one cb. 154.

Kjear then florenzi/calabria- RLC-Deers-Adli-Theo. Rafa. Giroud. Jovič. The pulišič.

Giroud Jovo would kill up front

  3. When will this team realise we should go after Scalvini…I’m tired of the lack of Italians also let’s just keep buying players to fill the holes. Give Simic and some of the youth a chance. It’s not like we can win the league anymore. Best time to work them into the squad but Pioli won’t…
