Di Marzio: Milan ‘long time’ followers of Spezia star but ‘no agreement’ in place

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have been following Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior for a long time but an agreement is not currently in place, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on Wednesday, prior reports suggesting that Milan had almost got the deal agreed and in place for the Polish defender are not quite accurate.

Despite the deal not being at that advanced a stage just yet, there is certainly truth in the fact that Milan are big admirers of the defender who can also be used in a defensive midfield role when needed.

He has been a deeply consistent performer for the Ligurian side during his time there and he is being chased by more than just the Rossoneri. Premier League side West Ham United had a bid rejected of €15 million last summer.

No agreement is in place right now but a decision is expected to be taken after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
