Di Marzio: Milan targeting 19-year-old Rosario Central sensation with agent in Italy

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are exploring various options having recovered a non-EU spot and one of them is the possibility of signing a striker from Argentina, a report claims.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Milan management are examining the idea of signing a young striker and Alejo Veliz of Rosario Central is a player that is very much on their list.

The 19-year-old centre-forward has been a revelation for Rosario Central, scoring 11 goals in 22 league games thus far, while he is also making a name for himself on the international stage having scored three times in four U20 World Cup games for Argentina.

The Rossoneri have one non-EU slot left after today’s FIGC ruling regarding players from the United Kingdom, so they could do the deal later on in the window.

The player’s agent is in Milan and there could be a meeting in the coming days to lay out the groundwork.

  1. Bro just get Santiago Gimenez that has Italian citizenship so you will have the non EU spot for other player

  2. Grab him fast , he is cheap and best striker in WC u20. His price will rising greatly if he success with AC Milan just one season

  3. Too many new players are also not good. Look at Chelsea, what happened to them as an example. Giroud-Okafor-Colombo are enough for Central strikers as we have many options for false nine as well. Imagine you go to dressing room, full of 35 players and you don’t know half of them. It is more like chaos and there will be a group of players instead of a team.
We still don’t have Kessie replacement. Spend money there.
We don’t have quality CB sign a good player there. Tomori has been playing against us since Milan-Chelsea 0:2 match. We have only one LB considering Ballo toure exit… Sign a player there…

    1. In the scudetto season tomori and kalulu was the best cb pair in the entire serie a so its absolute nonsense to say that he has been playing aginst us since chelsea beat us with him in their team.

    2. Tomori has been playing fine. Quiet down. We have a great base of players and simply signed reinforcements. It’s never enough for some of you. You are always upset about something. Oh and rest assured some of the players we signed already know some on our team. Like Okafor and Leao.

    3. Yes, thats right. But Okafor should be Leao’s backup. Because we learn at past season that we need good quality of squad depth, take example Man City, to compete best at both Domestic and Europa. That’s why we also buy 2 high-quality RW : Pulisic & Chukwueze. We will have very good quality at wings next season.

And Pioli will evaluate our young strikers : COLOMBO & LAZETIC. Will they ready to be Giroud’s cover. If Pioli think that they aren’t ready yet, we will find Target-Man style striker, without a doubt. But i think Colombo should ready, because he will help us comply club-grown regulation for UCL (remember we lose Gabbia). And Lazetic has potential to be Ibrahimovic’s striker style.

  4. This Young Sensation Foward is the best fit striker in all forms of our Policy
It is the best decesion to strike deal and Bring him Imidiately and be given a chance
He is the absolately kind of striker that suits our new signing Player’s Controbutions.
Chakueza and Leao bring the balls as floods and this guy scores extreemly at head and both legs
He does not fall the trap of offsides and he is allways at the positions to score goals.
    He beats one on one
    Hr is cheap
He and the forthcoming F Camarda will be the strikers of the world years to come.
But this guy is ready and tested.
