Di Marzio: Milan to accelerate for Real Madrid man as Dalot operation is blocked

By Isak Möller -

One of Milan’s priorities on the market is to bring in a right-back as Diogo Dalot has returned to Man Utd after his loan spell. At first, it seemed the Portuguese would stay but the Rossoneri have been forced to look elsewhere.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking live on Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Davide Calabria will sign his renewal with Milan today. And now the goal is to find a deputy for the Italian, who came through the youth ranks.

Alvaro Odriozola’s chances of joining the Rossoneri are increasing as Man Utd continue to reject the loan approaches for Dalot. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to use the loan with option to buy formula, but the English side want at least an obligation.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, seem open to a loan and thus Odriozola could be the solution for Milan on the right-hand side. In the coming days, there should be more updates on the matter.
