Di Marzio: Milan trying to sign young striker on loan but meet Chelsea resistance

AC Milan have reignited their talks with Chelsea to try and sign striker Armando Broja but are finding it hard work at the moment, a report claims.

Speaking on Sky during his Calciomercato L’Originale segment (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about the striker issue for Milan and confirmed that the management are trying to sign a new player for that role.

He reported that if Milan give the go-ahead for Lorenzo Colombo to go out on loan again – with Genoa and Cagliari knocking at the door – Milan will look for a replacement centre-forward with certain characteristics.

The Rossoneri have asked about Broja of Chelsea, but the player is not considered available for now and the Blues have not opened up to the idea of a loan deal.

It was reported yesterday that Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani is doing all that he can to convince Chelsea to let them have Broja, having already completed the Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic deals with them this summer.
