Di Marzio: Milan turn down swap deal involving outcast and Lokomotiv star – the details

By Isak Möller -

Although the season is in a crucial phase, the AC Milan directors are already working hard to prepare for next season, especially with regards to the market. Diego Laxalt is one of the players that could leave, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, a meeting took place between Lokomotiv Moscow’s intermediary and the Rossoneri at Casa Milan yesterday. The main topic of discussion was Laxalt, who has been on the Russian side’s radar for quite some time.

Milan have slapped a €10m price tag on the left-back and Lokomotiv are keen on signing him, but would like to include Aleksey Miranchuk in the operation. The midfielder, by age, price and characteristics, is certainly in line with the new youth project.

That being said, the Rossoneri would like to separate the two operations, thus parametrising the operation with more suitable figures. Per the report, the parties will meet again in ten days to take stock of the situation.
