More information continues to filter regarding what is holding up the negotiations between AC Milan, Porto and Mehdi Taremi’s entourage.
As of yesterday evening it seemed as though Milan had finally wrapped up a deal for the Iranian striker after days of negotiations, but then later in the night it emerged that some rather large obstacles had presented themselves.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, there are a couple of issues that the deal hinges on, starting with the fact that Taremi has no intention of accepting the salary offer of €1.5m net per season.
Then there is the commissions of the deal. The player has decided to rely on an agent who is very close to FC Porto and thus asked for higher commissions.
Therefore, the current state of play is that the Taremi operation is one that has become ‘complicated’ and given the limited time left in the window, it remains to be seen if it can be unblocked.
1.5m? I highly doubt we offer him that amount, 3m per year is more likely.
Next, I don’t need a guy who goes from yes to no, in fact I don’t want one now that there’s an agreement between the clubs.
Plus 31 years 15 million lost and no experience in Serie A Ciao Basta
…perhaps 3 million max ? The Italian leauge is a tough leauge defensively ..will he score goals ? it’s a pity we can’t keep Columbo .
he has got talent ,especially in the future .
This season we will do very well whatever
1.5m is this a joke,we can’t be taking serious
Offer origi 4m euro nett but only offer top score porto 1,5m euro nett? If i was taremi , i wont even consider that 1,5m euro salary, atleast make it equal to origi salary
Wata matsalar dai ce tafaru, Amma bana tsammanin Dan wasa kwararre kamar TAREMI Milan tayi masa tayin €1.5m. Kacal
Something wrong must happened, but I don’t think that an experienced player like TAREMI would be offered €1.5m only by Milan
I don’t know where the 1.5mil came from. The offer in all the sources had said 3mil/season.
ultimately it’s in Taremi’s hands. If he values his agent’s demands more than wanting to play for Milan, then that’s his call…
This doesn’t make sense. Why would he want to come to Milan is he wasn’t being given a raise (1.5M to 3M) with an extension??? I wouldn’t move either and better to just become a free agent at end of this year then to sign a flat fee extension lol. That would be bad business for him. I would also be shocked we would only offer him the same salary he already had for the next 3 years…what a fkn mess. We need to get this deal done. We have zero options now. Give him the 3M/season and finish this off. Not good at all. We will prob miss out on registering him in time now…
