Di Marzio: Milan wanting to complete deal for 21-year-old midfielder on their terms

By Oliver Fisher -

Yet more confirmations have arrived stating that AC Milan are interested in signing Yacine Adli from Bordeaux this summer.

As Gianluca Di Marzio reports, Milan are continuing to monitor the market to improve the squad available to head coach Stefano Pioli. The latest idea is Yacine Adli of Bordeaux, and the Rossoneri are trying to see if there is the possibility of striking a deal.

He is a profile highly appreciated by the Rossoneri management who would like to sign him outright but on their own terms, i.e. for a price that they are comfortable paying. However, the deal remains complicated due to the intense competition to sign the 21-year-old.

Ali has 69 appearances for Bordeaux, with 5 goals and 8 assists, and he can play as both an attacking midfielder, a mezzala or even in a two-man midfield if needed. In the last Ligue 1 season he had 35 appearances, with 2 goals and 5 assists.

  1. This transfer does not make any sense. Adli is not an AM. Probably, this is a replacement for Pobega. So why spending 10 mil Eur for Adli and loaning Pobega?

  2. 69 games 5 goals and 8 assists…
Last season on 35 games, 2 goals and 5 assists…
    Well done Milan management…
Is this the high-quality trequartista who will lead us in the new champions league era?
    I ‘m amazed….

  3. Is this dude some kind of secret superstar?
If there’s 10mill to splash on him, that means we could easily get Valsic, this goes to show the management ain’t even honest in thier transfer dealings.
