Di Marzio: Milan will make just €2m if Real Madrid decide to buy back playmaker

Milan are closing in on the signing of Brahim Diaz, who spent the last season on a dry loan at the club. It’s a big boost for the Rossoneri, especially since Hakan Calhanoglu has left and a No.10 is very much needed.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio last night, as cited by MilanNews, the negotiations between Milan and Real Madrid have proceeded quickly. An agreement is now very close on the basis of a loan with an option to buy.

The Rossoneri will pay €2-3m for the loan and the buy-out option will be set at €22m, taking it up to €25m in total. The buy-back clause will be set at €27m, which in theory means the Spanish side would have to pay just €2m to get him back.

Of course, everything will depend on the performances of Diaz, as it’s very possible that he might not fit the plans of Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Furthermore, the relations between Milan and Real are very good.
