Di Marzio: Milan’s probable XI for Roma – Calabria in, Piatek benched again

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to start Davide Calabria at right-back for the game against Roma despite claims Andrea Conti will keep his spot, a report claims.

Sky Italia’s Manuele Baiochini claimed on his Twitter page that Pioli will continue with Conti in the starting eleven after the 25-year-old started against Lecce last weekend due to the fact that Calabria was suspended.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio though, Calabria will get the nod upon his return at right-back, partnering Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez in defence.

The midfield will remain unchanged from the Lecce game, while the front three will also once again consist of Suso, Rafael Leao and Hakan Calhanoglu – meaning Krzysztof Piatek will have to make do with a spot on the bench once again.

LIKELY MILAN XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Paqueta, Biglia, Kessie; Suso, Leao, Calhanoglu
