Di Marzio: No contact between Ibrahimovic and Milan management about striker’s future – Rangnick’s position

Zlatan Ibrahimovic only returned back from injury recently but has already been able to make a difference for AC Milan during the resumption of Serie A. However, his future at the San Siro is very much uncertain, also given his recent declarations to Sportweek.

The Swedish attacker afterwards also spoke to Rai Sport and launched yet another provocation towards the likely new Milan manager Ralf Rangnick, making the prospect of their future cooperation highly unlikely.

And as reported by Sky Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio, there has been no contact between the Milan management and Ibrahimovic to talk about the striker’s future.

The journalist added that Maldini and Boban wanted to sign Ibrahimovic for a year and a half initially, but Elliott decided for six months with the proposal to speak again at the end of the season.

And while Ibrahimovic is very attached to Pioli and Maldini, he does not discriminate against Rangnick, according to Di Marzio. The German coach himself did not tell the ownership that he does not want Ibra and it’s a choice that will be taken collectively.
