Di Marzio: No suitable offers have arrived for €35m Sevilla, Spurs strike target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are yet to receive an adequate proposal for Krzysztof Piatek in the current window despite interest from a number of clubs, Sky claim.

Piatek got given the nod over Rafael Leao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia win over SPAL and got on the scoresheet with a composed finished in the first half.

He even had a hand in Milan’s second goal setting up Samu Castillejo with a tidy pass on the counter-attack for what was his first assist and one of his better performances in a Rossoneri shirt.

Calciomercato.com claimed that Sevilla made an offer of a six-month loan with obligation to buy set at €30m, and are now frontrunners in the race to land Piatek.

This was then confirmed by Sky earlier on Thursday with interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa plus a €35m asking price also mentioned.

According to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio – as cited by MilanNews.it – the teams that are interested in Piatek, until now, have not approached Milan’s requests, and the club are not willing to loan him out.
