Stefano Pioli will make three changes to his starting XI against Fiorentina compared to the one that took to the field against Torino on Monday, a report claims.
Pioli is juggling injuries at present, with Simon Kjaer the latest on the treatment table as he hobbled off in the first half of the 1-0 win over il Toro. Mateo Musacchio was expected to take his place but he also complained of a muscle problem, so Matteo Gabbia made his Serie A debut.
He looked confident in doing so, and according to Gianluca Di Marzio the 20-year-old will make his first senior competitive start for the Rossoneri in Florence this weekend, with Musacchio not to be risked despite being in the squad.
Andrea Conti will come back into the team after suspension in place of Davide Calabria, while Hakan Calhanoglu will start over Lucas Paqueta in the trequartista position behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The rest of the team is as expected.
Probable Milan XI (4-4-1-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Castillejo, Kessié, Bennacer, Rebic; Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic.
