Di Marzio: Rangnick makes request as Milan join Liverpool, Leipzig in race for €30m winger

By Oliver Fisher -

Prospective new AC Milan manager Ralf Rangnick has asked the Rossoneri recruitment team to look into signing Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica, a report claims.

According to what journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via @acmilangoleador on Twitter) has told Sky Italia, Rangnick has told Milan that he wants Rashica to help reinforce the club’s attacking options.

It was reported by Sky Italia on Thursday (via MilanNews) that he release clause is €30million if Werder Bremen were to remain in the Bundesliga, but only €16million in the event of relegation.

The 23-year-old Kosovo international has 10 goals and six assists in a struggling side in 31 appearances this term, and he continues to be linked with Liverpool.

Recently Agim Amedi – the president of the Kosovo Football Federation – claimed Liverpool and RB Leipzig are two clubs who want to sign the Bremen star.

“There are many requests for him,” Amedi told Syri TV (via the Echo).

“I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga.”
