Di Marzio: Rangnick will not decide Ibrahimovic’s future – the latest on the renewal

By Isak Möller -

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of speculation about Zlatan Ibrahimovic future at AC Milan. The Swede’s contract will expire at the end of the season and by the looks of it, he could leave the Rossoneri for good this time.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews.it), speaking live on Sky Italia, the future of the 38-year-old will not be decided by the arrival of Ralf Rangnick. In fact, the German manager will not have the final word when it comes to Ibrahimovic.

Instead, he will adapt to instructions of the club. Ibrahimovic is very close to Zvone Boban, who was sacked by the Rossoneri at the beginning of March. In fact, the Croatian director convinced the striker to join in January.

Therefore, it remains to be seen if Milan will make an attempt to renew the contract, and also what the player will respond. However, it’s now clear that Rangnick isn’t the man that will decide Ibra’s future.
