Di Marzio: Strange Roback case resolved after meeting with director

By Oliver Fisher -

It appears as though the rather strange case of Emil Roback has been resolved after some interesting stories did the rounds yesterday.

The news emerged from Aftonbladet yesterday, who reported that Norrköping cannot get hold of the Milan loanee Roback and sporting director Tony Martinsson has been trying for two weeks to contact him.

It wasn’t just a simple case of an unhappy player failing to turn up for training either, as Martinsson suggested there was genuine concern regarding his whereabouts.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Roback case has been resolved. They spoke to player-side sources and ascertained that the Swedish forward has returned to the Norrkoping training centre.

They added that the disappearance was due to personal reasons and this morning Roback had a meeting with the director in which the reasons for his absence were outlined. Now, we will see how he is reintegrated into the team.
