Di Marzio suggests there’s been ‘no willingness’ to allow Tare to work: “There’s no trust”

Igli Tare is set to leave AC Milan in the summer, but did he ever really start? Well, questions are being asked.

There have been several questions asked of the Milan recruitment process recently and it appears that Tare is going to be scapegoated for yet another summer that has gone wrong. However, whether that can be the case is unknown.

With the management, there have been more than a few questions about who makes the decisions and they are stacking up.

Indeed, it seems that changes in the management are likely this summer, but the extent of them is currently unknown. What seems guaranteed, though, is that Tare will be leaving the Rossoneri a year after joining.

Di Marzio’s Tare update

It feels a little harsh, given the suggestions that he has been left in the dark about a few things and Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about the situation on his podcast earlier today, via Francesco Nasato on X.

“There was no willingness to give Tare decision-making power over certain purchases; when there’s no trust, it’s pointless to continue. I also believe that in the end he had decided to step back because the conditions weren’t there to be able to work.”

  1. So he didn’t do anything? What is the point of having him? If he wasn’t given free hands to do his job why did he even accept it? Was he so desperate of a job that he accepted that Furlani overrides his decisions?

He sounds more and more like a loser that shouldn’t be at Milan.

    1. I think Furlani’s plan was to use him as a front and continue his player trading expenditures. Which is all the more reasons why its shocking the Nkunku transfer took place….

      1. Yes, great. What is Tare still doing there? Or is he too stupid to understand that? Or just a loser that allows this? Which of the reasons that disqualify him to be a proper sporting director do you think it is? I’d say he’s a loser that stuck around to get that paycheck for a year.

    2. I would assume the role was described differently than the reality he found when he started.

Wouldn’t be the first person to find a new job doesn’t live up to the description on the tin.
Has happened to me (not football related).

      1. And did you stay there? I also had an experience like that, after a week I said goodbye. It’s exactly what I said, if he’s the loser that stuck around for a year to get the paycheck in while being unhappy he is exactly that. A loser, not a sporting director to lead Milan back to glory.

      1. You’re so bright that you can only write that. You don’t have anything else to say, nothing to discuss because of your super high intelligence.

I understand you need drawings in crayons to comprehend what is going on. It isn’t shameful to admit that. Just say it.

  2. As long as Scaroni, Furlani, Moncada, and Ibrahimovic are in charge. Hiring any sporting director and coach is pointless since no one will be able to work in such toxic environment.

  3. “There was no willingness to give Tare decision-making power over certain purchases; when there’s no trust, it’s pointless to continue. I also believe that in the end he had decided to step back because the conditions weren’t there to be able to work.”
But I thought all the purchases and the targeting were his alone ?
If sometimes the decision making wasn’t his, then how was it ? And is this (or these) person(s) actually competent for such a decision ?
And what are the reasons to not give the sporting director the full power over purchasing players ? Isn’t it why he was brought to begin with ?
And if this is true, why did Tare accept such a job where has barely any power but will still be scapegoated anyways ?

    1. He rolled the dice i guess. Many years without work, he took a shot. Easy money and most importantly if this would have been a successful year he would have taken a lot of credit with only helps his name. If it didnt work, we’ll back to where he was.

    2. Because he’s a loser. If the whole thing is true he knew this in June or July, should have said thank you but I can’t do my job and leave. Milan needs winners, not losers that stick around for a year to collect the paycheck.

  4. Furlani is wise man you can’t trust thse two tare and alegri once you trust then nkunku and stupidnan is the next
