AC Milan are entering their biggest summer in recent history for the third season in a row and Ruben Amorim will be a busy man.
There is plenty to do at Milan this summer. In a World Cup year, after another disappointing finish, the club must dust themselves off and go again with aspirations of entering the Champions League next season at the very least.

It will not be easy and the squad certainly needs work. However, there will be no recruitment yet. In fact, it may be late July when the Rossoneri make moves in the mercato.
Amorim’s decision
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, via MilanNews, the Portuguese coach will only make decisions about the mercato once he has assessed his squad.
“Amorim wants to study the available squad in depth before making any decisions: the first objective is to analyse the entire group of players before making decisions on who should leave, stay, or arrive.”
This doesn’t mean that targets will not be identified in the meantime; he will have an idea of the profiles and roles he wants within his team. However, he will not authorise or push for moves until he has seen what he has available.

Musah will be more valued than Jashari. He is ideal for the 6 role in what Amorim plays. No 8. Rabiot/Modric.
I already see the conundrum when he says that Musah is staying and Jashari can be moved if a good enough offer comes.

I just looked at the starting eleven put out for Portugal. Felix starts over Leão. Portugal needs to win this game and Felix gets the start. Wow. Do we really think there are going to be any good offers for Leao? The WC was supposed to be his redemption. As it’s looking so far, Pulisic will be the player of value to be sold to finance buying players.
Nobody wants a lazy player. Let him pursue music.

It’s official! Pulisic and Leao were not the issue with regard to the lack of offense. Both are showing their abilities at the World Cup. Let’s hope that Amorim knows how to use those two for an entire season.
