Di Marzio: Basel duo and Stuttgart sensation being watched by Moncada

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s plan to invest in young talent will not cease and they have three players from around Europe on their list of targets ahead of the upcoming transfer windows, a report claims.

Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that centre-back Alessandro Marcandalli of Reggiana (on loan from Genoa) and striker Akor Adams at Montpellier are attracting interest from Milan, but they are not the only ones.

Two other young players that Milan have been followed in recent weeks: 20-year-old Basel defender Finn van Breemen and 20-year-old Basel midfielder Renato Veiga.

For the striker role, Serhou Guirassy of VfB Stuttgart is admired, given he has been one of the most in-form strikers around Europe at the start of the current season with 15 goals in nine Bundesliga games.

Chief scout Geoffrey Moncanda watched him closely again over the weekend in Stuttgart’s match against Borussia Dortmund, and the Guinea international scored the decisive penalty to seal three points for his side.
