Di Marzio: Chukwuemeka, Chukwueze and Thuram – latest on Milan’s mercato

Two players that have been heavily linked with AC Milan over the last few days are Samuel Chukwueze and Marcus Thuram. However, the paths to both are proving to be difficult, as highlighted by a report.

Thuram’s contract with Borussia Monchengladbach will expire at the end of the month and Milan have opened talks with the player. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, though, PSG are also interested and the player’s entourage is asking for €6m per year.

Milan are also following the situation of Villarreal winger Chukwueze with great interest. Per Di Marzio, the Rossoneri could sign the right-winger for around €25m, but that could be lowered with the conclusion of a future resale clause.

Finally, the Rossoneri are also interested in the Chelsea youngster Carney Chukwuemeka. The 19-year-old is on the market and could leave the Stamford Bridge side on a loan with an option to buy. It remains to be seen if Milan will make a move.

  1. Thuram – PSG & 6 mil salary. Next.
    2nd name – 25 mil. Next.
3rd name – Never heard of him before. Might happen.

    1. Thuram can happen if psg gets osimehn but who knows. Chukwueze is attainable and great but I think they will try harder to get pusilic for marketing reasons but end up losing both.

  2. LOLOLOLO.

Where are all the foolish sheep that actually thought we would be able to sign Tielemans, Thuram, N’D*cka, Kamada, etc….all because they were Free??? LOL. Where is that stupid line up graph lol.

Money talks gents and we have an ownership group with a 35M budget and WAGE CAP lol.

Kamada is the only realistic option because M&M already negotiated for him before they were sacked.

    The rest your dreaming.

    PSG – Thuram
    Aston Villa – Tielemans
    Roma – N’D*cka

Who is next??? Pulsic? If we buy him he’s at least 35M and that’s our WHOLE budget and we would have to sell a starter to get that done. AND convince Pulsic to take a massive PAY CUT to fit under our WAGE CAP lol. Good luck with that ace Furlani your gonna need it!

    1. Pulisic is ready to take a big wage cut. He can be had for 4.5 to 5 a year. Now…are we going to spend that transfer fee and have him close to our top earners with question marks surrounding his recent performances? Highly doubt it. Option to buy, with Chelsea willing to take a portion of his wages. Bad move because if he performs, he will want to keep that contract. The other option is a high percentage resale going to Chelsea, with the transfer paid in installments, that is the only chance of pushing it through. Even then, that won’t be an option they’ll consider if other teams come forward with a better offer, which given our economic parameters is highly likely.

  3. Milan can sign only unknown player !

This is an axiom for Ac Milan owner.

Milan signed: Maignan, Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Bennacer, Tonali, Saelealesomething, Messi-!as, …

Who ever know this players before they arrive???

    No one no where !!!

    1. You’re confused my friend, these guys were not for free. And Milan wasn’t as relevant as today when they got these guys.

Maignan was the leader and best player for a Lille team that won Ligue 1 over PSG. Tonali was courted by almost very Italian big club. Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori and Bennacer are the results of great scouting.

Now, the mercato didn’t begin yet but I share your concerns.

  4. For cardinales wellbeing he better hope he doesn’t come across a group of Milan fans in person because unless he thinks he’s in America he won’t have any guns for “self defense”

    1. Don’t be silly. Milan fans won’t say anything, nor should they. They window hasn’t even opened. Try calming down.

      1. I’m not saying I would but I’m sure if we give the ultras a bit of time they won’t have very kind messages for Mr Cardinale

  5. Same to last season…Milan is link with every possible player…yet we have not signed anyone. Now we can start to imagine what Maldini and Masara was going through…now M&M are not there to be blamed.

    1. But last season was delayed a month because of M&M renewal. This season we already have working group going with only 1-2 days delay because of the sack.

  6. You can get potential player list very easy. You dont need Moncada and Furlani to do that, most of the comment section can also point out good player. The hardest part is to convince them and the club owner. No one wants to play for a club with salary cap and no club will sell player to lowest bidder. We will see, I bet another unkown player like CDK, then flop, then comment about Tonali, Leao, etc needs more than 3 seasons.

  7. With 35 milion budget on transfer, you should go to liga 1 indonesia market, find the player there with those budget. With 35 m you can buy 10 or 30 player there, even you can buy 1 or 2 club there.

    1. Yes laughing but true.
      Maybe Pakistan as well
      Fiji has some good players

I like your comment is really funny

  8. Tielemans was a good candidate to replace Bennacer and I wanted him in our team. However, if he prefers Aston Villa over Milan, playing in conference league over champions league and of course money, than that says everything about his ambitions.
We need players who want to be at Milan and has winners mentality!

    Forza Milan!

  9. Moncada’s targets are very great players from Football Manager 2023. Marcus Thuram, Carney Chukwuemeka, Samuel Chukwueze, Youri Tielemans.

I hope Moncada isn’t just scout from what FM 2023 said that they are good.

  10. “Finally, the Rossoneri are also interested in the Chelsea youngster Carney Chukwuemeka. The 19-year-old is on the market and could leave the Stamford Bridge side on a loan with an option to buy. It remains to be seen if Milan will make a move.”

No, he isn’t. How did you come to that conclusion? Pochettino can’t see the players until July, nor is a 19 year old who has barely kicked a ball in a year the solution to anything. An absolute nonsense rumour.

  11. Big Mac Garry Cardone will bring enforcement from MLS or nfl bench
And from Zambia, Nigeria and Zambia
    Cheap hardworking players
