Milan Women are working to reinforce the team ahead of next season. After the reported coup of Kosovare Asllani, they are reportedly on the verge of signing Polish international Małgorzata ‘Gosia’ Mesjasz.
As per Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews), Milan are on the cusp of securing the player’s services. Mesjasz is a versatile player who can either play as a central defender or a defensive midfielder.
She’s 1.75 meters tall (5’7) and has a “good” physique. The player will come to Milan from Turbine Potsdam, after spending a total of three years playing for the German side before leaving the team.
Mesjasz has also made a total of 34 appearances and has scored three goals for the Polish national team. The player is also good aerially, once winning 96 aerial challenges in a season, which was the joint-most for a centre-back in Europe.
The versatile player would be a most welcome addition to the Rossonere, who are working to build up their squad ahead of next season.
Another Messias in the team – nice!
