Di Marzio: Milan receive ‘yes’ of Man Utd defender as talks are underway

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are continuing their search for a centre-back and a name that has gained more relevancy in the last few hours is Eric Bailly. In fact, the Rossoneri already have the yes of the player, a report claims.

According to the latest reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, who spoke live on air tonight, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are increasingly interested in Bailly. They have already obtained the ‘yes’ of the 27-year-old for a move.

The idea of the Rossoneri is to bring in a defender on loan, with the option of potentially making it permanent in the summer. Bailly is the most feasible option as things stand, per the report, but Milan are also keeping tabs on Abdou Diallo of PSG.

In addition to names abroad, Milan have also looked at Hellas Verona defender Nicolo Casala in the last few weeks. The 23-year-old could be a name for the summer but Lazio are also interested. Finally, the battle with Inter for Bremer will take place in the summer.

  1. 100% poor Milan transfer, 8 years running in circles, can’t believe that. To less Italiens in the team and too much in the management, huge congrats to that.

  2. he is good( i’ve not been hit on the head with a brick).
he’s better than maguire who is very overrated but this guy is always injured which doesn’t seem to help him in being consistent. got great timing on his takles and is fast like tomori but needs to be less injury prone to be at a high level.

  3. pro tip: injuries never help milan so be cautious, either help him in conditioning or look somewhere else because there isn’t much room for improvement left for a player entering his prime years.

  4. What!!!! he’s a cripple who can’t defend. I prefer useless Gabbia over him. We got from Bottman to this him…man this doesnt look good!

    1. Can’t defend? You have to be blind, the only problem are his injuries. It is a loan you muppets, not a long term solutions.

  5. Great defender, will be a good backup if he can stay fit. I love how one week Maldini is a genius and suddenly idiots would make a better transfer. 😀 Shut up
