AC Milan are not just working on new signings but also on some departures, with Sandro Tonali one step away from Newcastle and a few others poised to leave on loan. Salernitana had a meeting about the latter today.
The Rossoneri need to make some space for the new arrivals and while Tonali’s departure wasn’t exactly planned, those of Daniel Maldini and Marco Brescianini certainly are. Therefore, it’s convenient that Salernitan have expressed their interest.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Salernitana’s sporting director Morgan De Sanctis was in Milano today to meet with both Milan and Inter. With the former, he discussed the future of Brescianini and Maldini, who both have just returned from loans.
As was reported earlier this evening, Frosinone are also interested in signing the duo on loan for next season. The decision will mainly come down to the players, therefore, and which project they feel suits them best.
Keep selling..hope soon you will sell the club too
Yes, I’m currently mad with this owner #Helliot shot take over
A loan to Salernitana would be good for Maldini.
It’s a solid operation in Salerno.
I can’t believe Milan is prepared to sell Maldini, not yet. Yes I started paying attention because he is a Maldini but he is clearly an extremely talented player. He was very close to putting it together before injury hit at the end of his campaign for Spezia.
