Di Marzio: Three players await signals from Milan amid Maldini and Massara renewals

By Isak Möller -

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are seemingly one step away from renewing their respective AC Milan contract, which is a relief for the fans. In fact, the delay thus far has caused some issues on the mercato.

Due to the lack of renewals for the directors, Milan have been unable to move forward with a few of their key operations. The likes of Sven Botman and Renato Sanches are considered primary targets, but the delay has invited competition.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews), Milan have great appeal on the market and they can be happy about that. Botman, for example, is waiting for the Rossoneri as he wants the move and the same goes for Sanches.

This also applies to River Plate star Enzo Fernandez, who has put serious offers from Benfica and Wolves on gold to see if Milan’s interest is concrete. He has been mentioned as a Plan B, should the Sanches deal break down.

It’s clear, however, that all of these are waiting for signals from Milan and they will only get it once Maldini and Massara have signed the deals.

  1. Gazidis get the f*ck out of Milan you idiot not letting Madini sign players to take us to the next level.
who the f*ck do you think you are going up against Maldini the legend?

  2. Please sign atleast two players, Renato Sanches and Sven Botman. Let’s used the funds we where given for quality players to increas the depht of the Team

  3. I’m Maxwell from Nigeria and I think that the transfer business of ac milan this time is becoming an embarrassment knowing that this is a team that just won the scuddetto and is expected to make a better impression in the champions league and therefore needs some proper fortifications but what do you have just a psaltery 45 million euros, this is very annoying and disappointing for fans

    1. I concur, bro. Feel bad everyday I check d news,n still see dat Milan has not signed any of these guys. Now, we have so many scavengers lurking, including Juventus. What’s happening? What sort of management,n investors do we have. The situation at Milan is weird- no renewals yet for directors, takeover deal not closed yet by new investors

    2. First of all, neither you nor anyone else here has the slightest idea of what the transfer budget actually is. In addition, you have no inside knowledge of what transfers may or may not be in the works. Everything in the sports papers is just made up rumors to fill pages this time of year.
Then there is the simple fact that Milan lost money again last year, where are these billions you want for transfers supposed to come from?
