Dinamo boss drops huge Olmo hint amid Milan links: “We all know a transfer is being discussed”

By Oliver Fisher -

Dinamo Zagreb coach Nenad Bjelica has confirmed that Dani Olmo will not be risked during their Saturday friendly as ‘a transfer is being discussed’.

Speculation in the Italian, Croatian and even Spanish media persists claiming that the 21-year-old is a major target for Milan at present.

Croatian source Sportske Novosti have gone big on Olmo over the last 48 hours, claiming that Milan have concrete interested in the winger and have made a bid of €20m plus bonuses with a five-year contract offer on the table.

SportMediaset then claimed Boban is intensifying contacts with Dinamo Zagreb to try and win the race for the wide man, while Radio Rossonera claimed on Thursday that he would not be used in the friendly against Lokomotiv.

Now, Bjelica has confirmed that the Spain international will be left out of Dinamo’s friendly against FC Slovacko tomorrow, dropping a huge hint that something is on the cards.

“We all know a transfer is being discussed, though we don’t know where and when he will go. But we don’t want to risk anything from the club’s side,” he said (via 24sata.hr).

“It might be a little risky to play friendly games now. But he is in a good mood, he trains and plays really well.”
