Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 AC Milan: SempreMilan watchalong and live commentary

AC Milan are taking on Dinamo Zagreb in the league phase finale of the Champions League this evening. The Rossoneri more or less need a win to secure a top-eight finish, so join us for the watchalong and live commentary.

After two defeats in the first two games, Milan are currently on a five-game winning run in the Champions League and could make it six this evening. If so, they would secure a top-eight finish which would send them straight to the knockout phase.

Sergio Conceicao has made one change to the starting XI from the Parma game, replacing the suspended Davide Calabria with Fikayo Tomori. It will probably be more of a three-man backline at times, in other words.

Follow the action with our watchalong, hosted by Lorenzo on YouTube this evening, or make use of our live commentary as published on X. Either way, we will hopefully have a huge win to celebrate later tonight.

  1. I really like Fofana, I think he has the elements to be a world class midfielder but will someone teach him to lean over the bloody ball when he shoots!!!!

    1. And Giménez went of with an injury against Lille. Doomsday and armageddon and ragnarok all at once. Never seen a more horrible game from Milan. I want Tonali back.

    2. Fofana world class player? He has wasted several chances and gave away the ball cheaply. Musah should never step into the pitch again. Gabbis should be kept as a sub.

  2. 4-2-3-1 doesn’t work with this system, there is no rhythm.
4-3-3 way to go, we play with more fluidity, plus Reijnders is utterly useless as AM.

    1. I honestly didn’t think it would be Gabbia who gifts the winning goal. But when it comes to someone taking 2 IDIOTIC yellow cards in a brief time? Oh my money would have been on Musah!! Fng idiot who ruined the rest of the season. How? Now we have to play the 1st round and get ManCity or Real or similar and we all know how nicely that will go. And we’ll get another defeat on Sunday to boost the morale even more. Well done, Musah. Well done!!

  3. What did I just watch? This was one of the worst performances that I remember in recent memory. 0 shots, 0 opportunities, running like headless chickens against Dinamo Zagreb. I am at a loss for words 🥲

    1. Actually they are going to loose against small Croatian club, who is third in croatian national league and is in very big crises this season.

Collective, Cardinale, Zlatan, Gorlomi, Company and all players should resign after this game..

It is like Italy lose very important game against San Marino.

        1. Dude, I know croatian football better then you. Comparing Milan against Dinamo is like comparing Manchester City to Club Brugge.

  4. Mistakes happen. What bothers me is that we don’t have the right attitude. I’m sure Conceicao will give them hell in the locker room. Musah doesn’t deserve to wear this shirt. Get rid of him asap.

  5. Enough about Musah, a front three of Leao, Pulisic and Morata is a joke. Leao is an absolute disgrace to the shirt. Theo is not much better. And then you see Abraham warming up….. what a joke this beautiful club has become.

  6. To be fair, a lot of the team showing fight in the second half, Leao’s lack of pressing isn’t helping but Hernandez is by far the weakest link this half, not making runs for team mates or running back – he looks injured to be honest.

Chukwueze is doing a good job making things happen, Pulisic is playing superbly.

Ref isn’t helping, how on earth that ‘foul’ by Leao got given I’ll never know, Zagreb players have spent most of this half pretending to be injured.

  7. You clowns love to bash Leão, well, he’s not a fvckin’ striker, you know? What we really need is to get rid of worthless players like Morata.

    1. I don’t think Leao’s doing much wrong in this game – he’s not pressing as it’s not really his game and it’s hurting us but his movement up front gives us a chance – the front three is working well this half on balance

  8. Just put in the kids at this point. The likes of Bartesaghi, Vos, Zeroli, and Camarda would put in a better effort than this, I have no doubt

  9. Sergio Conceicao is terrible tonight, not one proper cross or cut inside from the wing, he is just on the bench the entire time. Oh wait, the players are supposed to do that…

  10. It’s embarrassing to lose against a team like that, Theo would be best if we got rid of him in the next few days, just like Musah and Okafor, but 90% of the team was just bad, the transfer market is almost over, and we need at least 5 players

  11. if only the management could check the archives of this great team called A.C. Milan perhaps then, they’ll realize what a mediocre we have become. very sad indeed.

  12. soooo… is “pu**ies” politically correct term? idk what I just watched…

Abraham can’t score in an empty goal…

Chukwueze hits random long shots that god knows what’s happening in his brain….

Okafor can’t handle ball at all… he fumbles the moment he touches the balll…

    Musah’s IQ is seriously questionable…

Tomori RB experiment was a fiasco to say the least… never thought Emerson would be missed…

  13. What a sh*t team, worst Milan I have seen in over 20 years. Everyone, from the upper management to the players, is an absolute embarrassment. .
