Donnarumma: “I hope Juventus do their job, but let’s look at ourselves”

Gianluigi Donnarumma has admitted AC Milan are hoping for a favour from Juventus to boost their chances of a top four finish.

The 20-year-old started in Saturday’s 1-0 victory at Fiorentina, which was the Rossoneri’s first away Serie A clean sheet since January.

There is still confusion about when Milan’s game against Frosinone next week will be played, with the club having formally requested for it to be postponed.

This is apparently to avoid giving Atalanta an advantage as their match against Juventus has been moved back to Sunday night so the Bianconeri can hold Scudetto celebrations.

Donnarumma though is just interested in winning the last two games and seeing where that takes the Rossoneri.

“We really believe in it, let’s win these last two games then see what happens,” Donnarumma told Sport Mediaset.

“I hope Juventus do their job, but let’s look at ourselves and take stock at the end of the season.”
