AC Milan’s Primavera side made it two wins from two in the UEFA Youth League with an impressive 2-1 victory away against Borussia Dortmund this afternoon.

Dortmund made it to the quarter-finals of the last edition of the Youth League where they lost 9-8 on penalties to Hajduk Split after a 1-1 draw. The Croatian side would go on to beat Milan in the semi-finals.
The German outfit won the first game of their 2023-24 European campaign 1-0 against Paris Saint-Germain, while Milan were 4-0 winners against Newcastle United making them the early pace-setters.
Ignazio Abate’s men ran out to an early 2-0 lead. The first goal came via a teasing Chaka Traore free-kick from the left wing that was flicked in by Diego Sia at the near post with the goalkeeper motionless.

The second goal was created by Chaka too as he won the ball bang and found Kevin Zeroli in space, who buried a low shot inside the far post to make it 2-0.

A consolation did arrive for the home side by it was in added time and there was to be no late drama, meaning Milan are top of the group with six points out of six.
