Doveri will officiate Milan’s clash against Juventus – the record with him

By Isak Möller -

On Sunday evening, AC Milan will face Juventus away from home. They will be looking to add yet another league win to their tally, having won for the first time at Allianz Stadium this spring (3-0 as well).

As has been announced by Lega Serie A, Daniele Doveri will officiate the game and he will be assisted by Di Paolo, who will be in charge of VAR. He will, of course, also have the support of the linesmen and the fourth official, but that’s less relevant.

The last three Milan games Doveri officiated were Inter, Bologna and Atalanta. One loss, one win and one draw. The recent record with Doveri, in other words, is very diplomatic and we can only hope that the Rossoneri will win on Sunday.

In the meantime, they are preparing for tonight’s important clash against Liverpool at Anfield. It will be their first Champions League game in seven years, which says a lot about how much this game means.
