Serie A have published a video on their official channel showing the referee Simone Sozza’s view during AC Milan’s win over Inter.
There was no shortage of controversy in a game in which Christian Pulisic scored the only goal, propelling Milan to their fourth win in their last six games against their city rivals, with no defeats in that stretch. The drama did not end there though.
There is an ongoing debate about Sozza’s decision to award a penalty after a VAR check following what was adjudged to be a foul by Strahinja Pavlovic on Marcus Thuram. It has divided experts, with some calling it an ‘abomination’ and others stating it was a ‘reckless’ challenge.
Meanwhile, it has emerged since the game that the officials also missed an elbow from Lautaro Martinez which left Matteo Gabbia with a bloody nose, and a hair-pull from Francesco Acerbi on Rafael Leao. In short, a typical derby with plenty of feistiness.

Controversies aside, some of these POVs (especially when the players are talking to the referee) and the fact that they kind of have to wear bodycames like cops in America are absolutely hilarious.
I find the one leading up to the goal particularly striking as it shows how fast these things happen. In the blink of an eye went from a dispossession to goal and the pace was astounding
Great to see this in real time on the field
What did the Inter player say when he required a penalty: “Rosso e poi ???”. I didn’t understand the last word. Anyone knows?
He was asking for a red card (rosso) too.
