Paulo Dybala’s contract is expiring at the end of the season, and he apparently wants to join AC Milan in the summer.

We are getting towards the point in the season where decisions must be made on the players whose deals are running out. We picked out five players that Milan could look to target in a recent feature, but a new name has cropped up this morning.

Dybala dreams of Milan

According to Corriere della Sera, Dybala could become an option for Milan. He is still waiting for word from Roma. Officially, no one has told him that his expiring contract will not be extended, and he already has offers from Argentina and Brazil on the table.

He would remain in Rome even with a reduced salary but if he were to leave, his ambition is to be able to play at San Siro for Milan. The paper even claims that the Argentina could accept a performance-based contract, given his many physical issues.

It’s not the first time that Dybala has been linked to the Rossoneri: in addition to the rumours when he was at Palermo, there was talk of a move to Milan when his contract with Juventus expired and he ended up going to Roma.

Dybala has made 22 appearances in total this season (17 in Serie A, four in the Europa League, one in the Coppa Italia) with three goals (two in the league, one in Europe) and four assists (three in Serie A, one in the Europa League).

However, he been sidelined since January 25th due to a knee problem. His last match was against Milan at the Olimpico, then he was on the bench against Juventus before undergoing surgery to clean the meniscus that is now keeping him out.

It must be said too that Dybala has always had a remarkable record against Milan. So, it could be a case of ‘if you can’t stop them, sign them’.

  1. Big no to Dybala, dybala is injury prone he plays 5 games whole year its not enough we must avoid injury prone players we are not hospital

  2. Haha we should’ve got him before he went to Roma… can only stay fit for half an hour at a time but he is a genius…

    1. But we don’t play with a 10. We have absolutely zero use for him with Allegri. Not to mention he’d be available half the season at best.
